Kalymnos is connected to the port of Piraeus and to other Dodecanese Islands (Kos, Leros, Patmos, Lipsi and Astypalaia) with regular connecting lines. From Piraeus port the regular route connects to the Dodecanese islands almost daily (a trip lasts 9-12 hours). Also, from the port of Mastichari in Kos where fast boats run regularly taking only 20 minutes to reach Kalymnos.
